By accessing or using the Citizen Justice Portal platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the platform, including citizens seeking legal assistance, lawyers providing services, law firms, and corporate users.

Citizen Justice Portal provides the following services: • AI Legal Assistant: AI-powered answers to legal questions for informational purposes • Lawyer Marketplace: Platform connecting users with verified legal professionals • Document Drafting: Tools for generating legal documents • Video Consultations: Encrypted video calling for lawyer-client meetings • Case Management: Tools for managing legal matters The platform acts as an intermediary and does not itself provide legal advice.

To use certain features of our platform, you must create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate and complete information • Maintain the security of your account credentials • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

All lawyers on our platform undergo a verification process that includes: • Verification of bar council registration • Confirmation of professional credentials • Background checks where applicable • Ongoing compliance monitoring However, users should independently verify lawyer credentials before engaging services. Citizen Justice Portal is not liable for any misrepresentation by lawyers on the platform.

Important: The AI Legal Assistant provides general legal information and should NOT be considered legal advice. The AI: • Is trained on Pakistani law but may not reflect the most recent legal changes • Cannot consider the specific facts of your situation • May make errors or provide incomplete information • Should not replace consultation with a qualified lawyer For legal matters, we strongly recommend consulting with a verified lawyer through our platform.

Subscription Fees: Users agree to pay all applicable subscription fees according to their chosen plan. Consultation Fees: Lawyer consultation fees are set by individual lawyers and collected through our secure payment system. Refunds: • Subscription refunds are available within 14 days of purchase • Consultation refunds are handled case-by-case • No refunds for completed services All payments are processed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).

The Citizen Justice Portal platform, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Citizen Justice Portal (Pvt.) Ltd. and is protected by Pakistani and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Documents generated through our platform are owned by the user who created them, subject to: • Our right to use anonymized data for platform improvement • Any third-party licenses for template content

Users agree not to: • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose • Impersonate any person or entity • Interfere with platform security or functionality • Scrape or collect user data without authorization • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content • Violate any applicable laws or regulations Violations may result in immediate account termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by Pakistani law: • Citizen Justice Portal is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the past 12 months • We are not liable for any legal outcomes resulting from platform use • We are not responsible for third-party content or lawyer services Users acknowledge that legal services involve inherent risks and uncertainties.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be: • First attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation • Subject to mediation through a mutually agreed mediator • If unresolved, submitted to arbitration under Pakistan Arbitration Act • Governed by the laws of Pakistan • Subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Lahore, Pakistan

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent platform notice.
